Our Story
We’re Betsy and Shane Miller, the duo behind Crawfish MAX. Shane, a true Cajun from Iota, Louisiana, grew up on a farm where he practically cut his teeth on crawfish. As our in-house crawfish guru, he ensures that we get MAXimum quality. When he’s not catchin’ crawfish, Shane’s flying high as a professional pilot and proudly representing as a U.S. Army veteran. Betsy is our Georgia peach! With her expertise in mommin’, sales, and accounting, Betsy keeps things running smoothly. She’s also featured in Gulf Coast Woman Magazine and WLOX’s In Their Shoes! We are empty nesters with 5 adult children and love life on the Coast. When we moved to Mississippi, we quickly saw a need for good quality crawfish, so we launched Crawfish MAX with a dream, a Ford F-150, and a burlap blanket. Along with our boxers, Max & Molly, we are Crawfish MAX. Call us couyans, but yes, the business is named after our dog.
